The Dairy Course is a practical online program that prepares trainees for real work on European dairy farms. It covers cow behavior, breeding, feeding, milking routines, housing, hygiene, and animal health, always linked to EU standards and welfare rules. Step by step, learners build the skills and confidence they need to handle cows safely, support good milk quality, and work professionally with farm supervisors and colleagues.

The Arla Dairy Health & Biosecurity Course supports farmers and farm workers in protecting animal health, milk quality, and stable dairy production in line with the EU Animal Health Law (Regulation 2016/429).
The course focuses on shared responsibility, risk-based biosecurity, early reporting, and practical daily routines that reduce disease spread before problems escalate.
Participants learn how to apply proportionate prevention measures, manage internal movement and visitor control, and use veterinary medicines responsibly while respecting withdrawal periods.
Through practical examples, exercises, and assessments, the course strengthens professional competence and supports healthy herds, safe milk, consumer trust, and long-term stability across Arla farms.
